Gluster 3.1: Logging into the Management Console

The Gluster Storage Platform Management Console login screen appears automatically after you boot (or reboot) your server.

To log into the Management Console

1. Type the administrator password in the Password field.
   
   By default, this password is glusteradmin.
   
   
2. Click Login. The main screen of the Management Console appears.

You can also manage your Gluster environment remotely using a Web browser.

To remotely log into the Management Console

1. Using your Web browser, navigate to the following URL:
   
   http://host-name
   
   or
   
   http://ip-address
   
   where ip-address is the IP address for the server (the IP assigned during the installation)
   
   
2. Type the administrator password in the Password field.
   
   By default, this password is glusteradmin.
   
   
3. Click Login. The main screen of the Management Console appears.
