Gluster 3.1: Shrinking a Volume

From GlusterDocumentation

<<Expanding a Volume | Table of Contents | Migrating a Volume>>

You can shrink a volume, as required, by removing server partitions from an existing volume.

Note: You need to remove at least one server partition from a distributed volume, two (or multiples of two) server partitions from mirrored distributed volumes, and four (or multiples of four) server partitions from striped distributed volumes when shrinking the storage space.
