Gluster 3.1: Using the Management Console

The Gluster Storage Platform Management Console offers an advanced graphical user interface that enables you to access features and perform tasks using the following tabs:

  • Volumes
  • Servers
  • Logs
  • Resources
  • Settings
  • GSN

Using the Management Console, you can complete the following operations, among others:

  • Create and start a new volume (featuring a single global namespace)
  • Delete a volume from your storage environment
  • Expand or shrink volumes
  • Add a new server to the storage cluster
  • Migrate volumes or servers
  • Download the server logs
  • Reboot the server
  • Shut down the server
