[Gluster-users] gluster WITHOUT nfs

Hi together,

is it possible to use gluster WITHOUT nfs? First I thought it is possible by using "gluster native client/protocol". I do not want any open ports on public interfaces and as far as I understand it is not possible to bind nfs to internal interfaces. I am trying to pin every daemon (glusterd, glusterfsd, glusterfs) to internal interfaces (security). Hopefully this can be done without painful ip table configs.
